These pictures below were taken in late August of 2009. Jay built at least 6 or 7 (what I can remember anyway) for some of the jersey calves that we received. We have decided to forego raising them from this young, so this isn't how the barn currently looks. I just wanted to show you this was something that was done early on.

In October of 2009, Jay started tearing out the main wall that separated the upstairs two bedrooms on the south side to make room for a nice BIG closest for me, I mean US. :-) He used some space from the southwest room to provide the southeast room a walk-in closet that it desperately needed. I was looking back for a "finished closet" picture, and I just don't seem to have one! I'm really surprised about that. I can't take the picture right now because our closet is in chaos with the rest of the house. (I'm using as much of it as I can to store things I don't want in the garage.) I'll make a note of it to provide a picture at a later time, closer to the end of summer.
