Kitchen!!

Hello, friends! I really dropped the ball on keeping you updated on this blog. I apologize! Our interior portion has been complete since August 2020, but life....got busy and complicated. That's life! I recently decided to start another blog, but I'm forcing myself to catch up with this one first.  :-)

As I mentioned in last post, the cabinets were delivered.  Below you'll see the kitchen taking shape.  We couldn't be happier with the choice of our cabinets, even 4.5 years later.

Appliance pull-out drawer pantry.  LOVE LOVE!

Surprisingly, it didn't take long to fill it up. 😃

The very top cabinets are frosted and look so classy. <3

 

Last minute decision between the minds, put in a return air underneath the pantry.  Apparently, that was a great idea.  :-)  However, then we had to have a custom-made cover. Can't buy something this size at big box store.  To get the look we desired, we went to DJ's Metal Art in Owen.  I'm sure the picture will show up soon.

Living out of the camper all summer, I was pretty excited to restock the cabinets. I still love everything about this pantry.

As you can see, I chose to go with a white island to lighten up the space a little.  If you look way in the background where our staircase is, you'll see white + wood combo.  I really like it.  It is much harder to keep clean than I'd like, but that just forces me to clean.  Not a bad thing..... 

By August 10th, we had a working kitchen again!

It was probably the best birthday present I ever got. :-)
