Quite a day this way for these men! Robert Ross Construction came into our basement and removed the field stone foundation wall that runs through the center of our home. I watched that morning as vehicle after vehicle was coming in. My guess is that there were 8 men here that hot 90 degree day. Poor guys! One plus though, was that is WAS cooler in the basement. A few guys also came back the following day and helped Jay with installing the steel beam and posts to replace that wall. What a great crew!

Ready for some more demo? Jay is getting ready to open up this door way a little more. From this angle, this doorway is the one coming from the front entry into the kitchen area.

Look at that! Wow! Such a difference.
